A refresh for YCMA’s Youth Zone

A Social Value paint donation by Beyond Housing’s valued partner BES Group, has transformed the YMCA’s Youth Zone into a bright, engaging and welcoming space.
YMCA Yorkshire Coast, a registered charity, is located in the heart of Scarborough town and has been serving the local community since 1846. It is one of the oldest YMCA locations in the country.
The Scarborough YMCA moved to its current location on St. Thomas Street in 1987.
Laura Young, Community Partnership & Engagement Manager at Beyond Housing, said: “We would like to thank BES Group for this generous donation, our social value partnership work has enabled us to support the many young people who access the YMCAs activities and brightening the Youth Zone for them to enjoy!”.
Danielle Cross, Commercial Manager of BES Group, said: “As a company, we are pleased to be able to contribute paint donations towards the improvements of the Youth Centre. Supporting initiatives that uplift our communities aligns closely with our values, and we’re honoured to play a small part in helping the centre continue its important work”.
