- How inclusive are you as an employer?
We are a Disability Confident employer, operating a job interview guarantee scheme for applicants who have a disability.

- How long does the process take?
Our aim is to do all our recruitment as quickly and efficiently as possible, although it really does depend on the role. As we receive a lot of interest in our roles, we are not able to give feedback to everyone at the application stage. If you have had an interview with us, then we will always let you know the decision and we can offer specific feedback if you request this.
At Beyond Housing we also have a talent bank. This is a database of great job candidates who have impressed us in a recent selection process. If that is the case, we will invite you to join the talent bank in an email.

We believe we have a process that works for everyone at Beyond Housing. We always try and make sure our interviews are as relaxed as possible so you can be yourself and highlight your skills and express your character. It is important we hire people who are a great match to our values of accountable, considerate, collaborative and ambitious, so we will ask you some questions to see whether you are a great match to those.

Having an overview of what to expect should help you feel more comfortable. Here is an overview of how we run things at Beyond Housing:
You will be greeted by one of our lovely colleagues and shown to the allocated place of your interview.
First, your interviewer(s) will introduce themselves and tell you a little bit about Beyond Housing. Let’s be honest, we need to make sure we are the right company for you as well! We will also give you some information about the team and the role you are applying for.
We will then talk you through the structure of the interview. If you have been asked to complete any additional tasks or a presentation, we will usually ask you to do this first, then we will start our questions for you before you ask us questions.
Our questions are a mixture of values based, technical and skills-based questions specific to the role that you have applied for. Remember, it is a two-way conversation, you are there to check us out too, so please ask any questions you have, no question is a silly question!
Finally, we will go through the next steps with you and look at a copy of your right to work documents and that will be the end of the interview. We will then see you out and you may meet a few of our colleagues along the way.
- Do you have apprenticeships or work experience opportunities?
