The Tenant Panel have a very important part to play in the governing and shaping of Beyond Housing, and as valued customers, their input is highly regarded and listened to. They set high standards of customer care and shape and review policies, making sure they are customer friendly, strong and fit for purpose.
The Tenant Panel works closely with each department, embedding customer involvement and learning what work is involved. This gains a constructive and friendly working environment, which is beneficial in shaping the company. Full training is provided, so please don’t feel you can’t contribute to the panel. Everyone on the panel started with very little knowledge.
Resident Scrutiny Group
The Resident Scrutiny Group is an important part of our resident involvement framework. The purpose of the Residents’ Scrutiny Group is to:
- Make sure that customers are widely consulted and involved in all aspects of service and performance standards
- Check that good quality services are being delivered to meet customer’s expectations and priorities
- Identify areas of good performance and areas for improvement
- Make sure we are achieving value for money.
In essence, they act as our critical friend.
The Communications Group was set up to make sure our communications are customer focused. The group look at a variety of things from leaflets and letters to websites, our customer magazine and new campaigns.
They put the words, tone of voice, photos, design and presentation under the spotlight, busting jargon and suggesting simpler ways of explaining a range of issues.
Focus and user groups
We also have focus and user groups which are all open to customers, giving you the opportunity to comment on current services, and help to develop new ones.
