Relief Support Worker

Hambleton Lifeline provides a support service helping older and other vulnerable people maintain their independence and live safely at home. 

Working with minimal supervision, you will deliver a support service to older people in their homes. This includes some evening and weekend work as well as participating in an overnight rota to respond to emergencies in an ‘on-call’, from home basis.

Based in Northallerton you must be able to respond to calls in the Northallerton and Thirsk area.

The successful applicant will be forward thinking, solution focused and will champion the services offered by Hambleton Lifeline. You will also need to:

  • Work collaboratively with your colleagues
  • Use your own initiative
  • Build strong relationships across the service area and with partner organisations
  • Exercise a high degree of flexibility
  • Demonstrate you are computer literate
  • Use your strong communication and interpersonal skills within the role.
