Gas Heating Engineer

An excellent opportunity has become available for two suitably qualified and experienced Gas and Heating Engineers to join the Beyond Housing family.
 
Based at Scarborough, you will be qualified and experienced in domestic gas & heating installations and will provide an out of hours call out service on a 1 week in 4 basis as part of a small, dedicated team of engineers.
 
As well as installing boilers and heating systems, you may also be required to undertake gas repairs, maintenance and servicing in domestic properties.
 
We need you to be qualified to NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or an equivalent City and Guilds advance Plumbing craft. You need to hold ACS gas competencies in CCN1, CPA1, MET1, MET2, CENWAT, CKR 1, HTR 1, have proven experience of gas & heating installation, repairs and servicing in domestic properties and you must hold a a full driving licence.
 
We are looking for someone who is not only experienced, but who is well motivated, with a great eye for detail. We are super busy, so you need to be able to work under tight deadlines and be extra organised.

The icing on the cake is that we offer a competitive salary for this role, which includes a payment for multi-skilling and for being on the on-call rota, making the earnings in the region of £39k.

As part of this role, you may need to mentor an apprentice, volunteer or work experience placement.
