Project Leader

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated and driven individual to join our Major Works team to assist and lead on programme delivery. The role will involve the coordination and delivery of a number of work programmes and projects assigned by the Major Works management team.

You will have excellent communication skills and will need to use your people and financial skills to keep a number of important programmes on time and to budget. Dealing with the whole range of internal and external stakeholders, it will be your job to identify and solve problem areas and pressure points throughout all the programme life cycle stages.

You will have the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines in a challenging but rewarding environment.  You will have a good understanding of health and safety practices and ideally have some knowledge of project planning to be able to successfully deliver projects with both in-house labour and sub-contractors. Excellent organisational and IT skills are a must.

Due to COVID-19, many Beyond Housing colleagues are staying safe and working from home if their role allows for it - as a Project Leader you will also have the opportunity to do this. Once it is safe for colleagues to return to the office you will still have the flexibility to work from both the office and/or home as we support ‘agile’ working. We understand how important your work environment is when joining a new company, so we will work with you to ensure your work setting is suitable for you.

Paula Aungiers is our Project Manager, so if you fancy a chat about the role, why not give her a call on 07920 790978.

We are not working with recruitment agencies on this vacancy. Closing date for applications is Friday 3 December 2021.
