Case Study: Zoe
Background
Beyond Housing customer, Zoe began her journey by volunteering at Westfield Farm in 2019 as she wanted to upskill and enhance her prospects of gaining employment.
Story
Zoe had always enjoyed being creative, especially in an outdoor environment and in her spare time she loves gardening, so it was a natural progression for her to become part of our volunteer gardening team! She excelled working as part of a team and could also work autonomously on independent projects, and as well as being really supportive of other volunteers.
Outcomes
Most recently Zoe wanted to expand her skillset even further and had shown an interest in improving her ICT skills. To support Zoe with this goal, we offered her a volunteer opportunity as a receptionist at Westfield Farm and she has really hit the ground running, she’s so keen to learn and has really impressed everyone.
