As a relief responder within our Reach & Respond team, you'll provide emergency response and practical support to customers across our communities, helping them remain safe, secure and independent in their own homes. You'll attend emergency call-outs, assist customers following falls using specialist equipment, provide first aid where required, install and test telecare equipment, and ensure accurate records are maintained. This is a rewarding role that combines compassion, problem-solving and the opportunity to support people when they need it most.
We're looking for a caring, reliable and customer-focused individual who can remain calm under pressure and respond confidently in emergency situations. You'll have excellent communication and listening skills, a person-centred approach and the ability to work independently while being part of a wider team. An understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and supporting vulnerable customers is essential. You'll also need a full driving licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle insured for business use. Experience within a care, support or social care environment would be beneficial but is not essential.
