IMPORTANT UPDATE: CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
We have made changes to our service offer following the government’s announcement on Monday 16 March advising to reduce non-essential travel and non-essential contact.
Our Independent Living Services (HomeCall, Coastcall and Hambleton Lifeline) are focused on sending responders to emergency situations only. All non-emergency visits will be cancelled and where possible replaced with a telephone call. Customers can continue to use their equipment to call us and speak to an advisor in HomeCall.
In these unprecedented times our advisors are extremely busy, with many elderly and vulnerable people now in self-isolation impacting their service levels. Our main priority is to ensure we are staffed sufficiently to continue taking calls and carrying out responses, but are now moving towards engaging family members, carers, next of kin to support us and carrying out reassurance calls to customers.
