Meet Caroline Wallace

Caroline joined Beyond Housing in December 2024. Prior to this, she was Director of Finance at social housing provider Bernicia Group, where she led a team that included social and commercial finance, procurement, and insurance. Before Bernicia, she was Deputy Finance Director at Gentoo Group in Sunderland.

Caroline is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a business leader who has worked at Board level and also in other disciplines such as legal, people, development and governance. Having worked in housing for more than 20 years, Caroline prides herself on her one-team ethos and encouraging innovation and a learning culture.
