We commit to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces community.
We recognise the value serving personnel, both regular and reservists, veterans and military families contribute to our business and our country.
To demonstrate our commitment, we operate a job interview guarantee scheme whereby veterans will be guaranteed an invitation to the first stage of the selection process if they are able to demonstrate they meet the essential criteria of the person specification for the role.
Work and training success stories!
Jake’s work and training success
Jake joined our programme in the summer of 2023 with a lack of confidence and motivation as he had no prior work experience. To address these issues, we assisted him in creating a professional CV, identified roles that would suit his skills, and helped him with his applications. Additionally, we organised mock interviews to improve his interview skills. To help Jake gain some valuable work experience, we explored work experience and job placements.
John’s work and training success
John signed up for support in May 2024, excited to explore new opportunities and discover what he truly needed. He successfully completed the Level 2 NVQ Rail Track Engineering Course at Hartlepool College and then moved on to Street Works and Excavator Training, with funding provided for the courses. He successfully passed them and gained valuable new qualifications. We are continuing to support him on his journey!
