Apprenticeships
What we offer
Our apprenticeship programme offers great pay in a variety of roles, while supporting people to gain an industry-recognised apprenticeship standard.
First-year apprentices at Beyond Housing can expect to earn £10 per hour, much higher than the present £7.55 national minimum wage for apprentices.
After completing their first year, apprentices receive a significant raise in hourly pay, to £12.60 per hour. This is currently the Real Living Wage Foundation recommended hourly rate of income based on living costs.
Apprentice intake now full
We are currently supporting over 30 apprentice colleagues, with a number progressing to higher‑level apprenticeships within the organisation.
This year, we will focus on reviewing and strengthening our apprenticeship offer, recruitment approach, and career pathways, ensuring we continue to deliver high‑quality support and development for both current and future apprentices.

Jordan made a big career change, leaving retail behind to follow his passion for woodworking, by starting a joinery apprenticeship. The apprentice has truly become the master as he’s secured a position as a charge hand!
After volunteering on a construction site, Natasha knew a joinery apprenticeship was the right career for her. Natasha would highly recommend an apprenticeship with Beyond Housing to anyone considering it!
