National recognition for Armed Forces support

We’ve been awarded the prestigious Gold Award in the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS), the highest honour available to employers who demonstrate outstanding support for the Armed Forces community.

The Gold Award recognises organisations that go above and beyond in their commitment to the Armed Forces Covenant. This includes providing tailored support to veterans, reservists, and military families, as well as actively promoting fair employment practices for service leavers.

Beyond Housing is among 202 organisations across the UK to receive the award in 2025, joining a record number of recipients from the Yorkshire and Humber region.

We’ve taken a proactive approach to Armed Forces inclusion, offering a guaranteed interview scheme for veterans who meet the essential criteria for any advertised role. Our dedicated employability team is also on hand to assist with CV writing, job applications, and interview preparation.

Further resources and opportunities are made available through platforms such as the Career Transition Partnership and Forces Families Jobs, which we signpost to as part of our support offer.
