It’s important to let us know if you spot any signs of damp or mould in your home. Below, you’ll find ways to report any issues, along with the steps our specialist team will take and the timeframes you can expect.

At Beyond Housing, we have clear processes in place to support you with damp and mould. Our specialist team will:

  1. Triage any reports of damp and mould in your home
  2. Send an operative or surveyor to investigate and identify the root cause of the damp and mould. They may also carry out any neccessary treatment work to ensure the property is safe
  3. Arrange for appropriate action to fully fix the issue.

Emergency damp and mould hazards

We will attend emergency damp and mould hazards within 24 hours 

Significant risk damp and mould hazards

We will attend significant risk damp and mould hazards within 10 working days 

Slight damp and mould issues

For slight damp and mould issues we will provide advice and guidance, and attend within 60 days.

Awaab’s Law sets strict legal timeframes for social landlords to address reports of damp, mould, and other emergency hazards.
