First affordable homes handed over at Marske Sands development

We have taken handover of the first two affordable homes being delivered as part of Taylor Wimpey’s wider residential development in Marske-by-the-Sea.
The homes are the first to be completed under Beyond Housing’s scheme, which will provide 40 new homes for affordable rent in Marske.
The scheme, delivered in partnership with Taylor Wimpey, will include 20 three-bedroom and 20 two-bedroom homes, all of which will be advertised through the Tees Valley Home Finder website.
The homes will help address the need for high quality affordable housing in the area, with some priority given to applicants with a local connection to Redcar and Cleveland, as well as households in housing need.
The remaining affordable homes are expected to be handed over in phases over the next four years, with final completion anticipated in August or September 2030.
