We’re proud to have reaffirmed our position among the UK’s top 100 most inclusive places to work.

The Top 100 Index, compiled by the National Centre for Diversity as part of its FREDIE Awards programme, recognises organisations that demonstrate a sustained commitment to fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement.

Our continued inclusion in the Top 100 comes alongside retaining our Investors in Diversity Silver accreditation, following a further independent assessment by the National Centre for Diversity.

After first achieving Investors in Diversity status in 2022, we’ve continued to embed the behaviours and standards set out in the FREDIE model across the organisation. The most recent assessment drew on a strong level of colleague engagement, with a significant majority of employees participating in the survey process, alongside focus groups and one-to-one discussions held across the business.

Assessors found clear evidence that we had implemented recommendations from previous accreditations and continue to build an inclusive workplace culture. Strengths highlighted in the report included visible leadership commitment, improvements in recruitment practices, ongoing investment in training and development, and a continued focus on accessibility and support for colleagues across different roles and locations.

The assessment also recognised the role of the organisation’s FREDIE Forum and Champions in promoting engagement and awareness, as well as a structured approach to reviewing and embedding policies and behaviours linked to dignity, respect and inclusion.

Catherine Clennett, Director of People at Beyond Housing, said:

‘We are extremely proud to retain our Investors in Diversity Silver accreditation and our inclusion in the top 100 most inclusive employers. Beyond Housing is committed to providing a work environment and service to customers where everyone feels valued and respected, and this recognition reflects our collective ongoing efforts to maintain that.’
