We have successfully completed a housing development project in Guisborough

We have successfully completed a major housing development project in Guisborough, delivering 27 high-quality homes across two sites at Woodhouse Road and Park Lane.
The ambitious £5 million scheme, undertaken in partnership with Moody Construction Ltd, has provided much-needed affordable housing options in the town.
The development incorporates a diverse mix of new-build and refurbished homes, tailored to meet a wide range of housing needs within the community. The Woodhouse Road site features four two-bedroom bungalows, each equipped with wet rooms to support individuals aged over 60 or those requiring accessible, ground-floor accommodation. Additionally, three general needs apartments have been created through a thoughtful conversion process.
Meanwhile, the Park Lane site offers ten one-bedroom houses alongside ten apartments, also designed with wet rooms, ensuring accessibility for residents with specific mobility requirements. These homes provide a modern, comfortable, and practical living environment, aligning with our commitment to delivering high-quality, affordable housing solutions.
Kelly Lemon, Senior Project Manager at Beyond Housing, said: “It is very satisfying to see the delivery of this exciting and innovative development in Guisborough. I’m sure the wide-ranging accommodation options will benefit the local community.”
Scott Wardman, Head of Construction at Moody Construction Ltd, said: “We were delighted to be awarded this contract; it’s been several years since we have worked with Beyond Housing. The project hasn’t been without its challenges, but we have enjoyed delivering the team’s vision and are looking forward to working with them again.”
For many new residents, the development represents a fresh start and a significant improvement in their quality of life.
Lisa Dalton, who recently moved into her new Beyond Housing home, described her experience: “I’m so happy here, moving in felt just like winning the lottery!”
Her sentiments were shared by her neighbour, June Smith, who added: “It’s a beautiful place, so quiet and peaceful. We’re very happy here.”
