We have submitted a planning application to provide 128 new homes on the remaining land at Hummersea Hills in Loftus, the third phase of the development which commenced in 2012.
Part of the site will be the next scheme delivered in partnership with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and Homes England under the Redcare brand, a partnership which provides bespoke extra care housing for older and vulnerable people across Redcar and Cleveland. This includes 19 supported living homes for more vulnerable adults and 24 bungalows, together with communal areas for staff to provide support to the residents, providing access to varying levels of independence and support.
The remaining 85 homes will be affordable housing with a mix of two, three and four bedrooms, available under various tenures. Our customer-centric approach means we are happy to speak to residents about what tenure best fits their requirements.
With anticipation that planning will be approved in February 2020, we are looking to start on site in March 2020 with contractors Esh, appointed through the Efficiency North Framework to complete this development.
