We’ve signed up to the Cleveland Anti-Social Behaviour Charter

Wednesday 18 February 2026

We’ve signed up to the Cleveland Anti-Social Behaviour Charter, reinforcing our commitment to tackling anti-social behaviour and supporting safer communities across the region.

The charter, led by the Cleveland Police and Crime Commissioner in partnership with local agencies, sets out a shared pledge for organisations to work together to prevent and address anti-social behaviour.

By becoming a signatory, we’ve joined a growing number of partners committed to coordinated action, clear standards and improved outcomes for residents.

The Cleveland Anti-Social Behaviour Charter outlines how agencies will collaborate, share information and respond effectively to reports of anti-social behaviour. It aims to build public confidence, strengthen neighbourhoods and ensure that those affected feel heard and supported.

Beyond Housing played a role in contributing to the development of the charter and we will continue to work closely with our partners through the Safer Cleveland Board to deliver on our commitments.

Matthew Haynes, Redcar Housing Operations Manager at Beyond Housing, said:

“Beyond Housing has reaffirmed its dedication to creating safe, confident and resilient communities by signing up to this charter. This reflects our ongoing determination to prevent and tackle anti-social behaviour, in collaboration with partners, to ensure residents feel secure, supported, and proud of the places they call home.”

Sarah Hall, Director of Housing at Beyond Housing, added:

“At Beyond Housing, safety and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. By signing up to the Safer Cleveland Anti-Social Behaviour Charter, we’re strengthening our commitment to tackling anti-social behaviour. As part of the Safer Cleveland Board, we work closely with partners on initiatives such as this to prevent and tackle anti-social behaviour, strengthen neighbourhood pride, and ensure communities feel supported and protected.”
